Accessibility
We want this shop to work for everyone, on any device, with any assistive technology.
Last updated October 3, 2026
What we aim for
We build to WCAG 2.2 Level AA. In practice that means:
- every page works with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus outline;
- body text meets a contrast ratio of at least 4.5 to 1 in both light and dark mode;
- every control is at least 44 by 44 pixels, so it is reachable with a thumb;
- images carry alt text, and decorative ones are hidden from screen readers;
- the page works at 360 pixels wide without horizontal scrolling;
- we respect your system setting for reduced motion and for dark mode;
- filters, sorting and pagination are real links, so they work before JavaScript does.
Every release is checked automatically for accessibility, and a build that regresses is blocked from shipping.
What we know is not perfect
Automated checks catch a lot but not everything. We have not yet had the shop tested by people who use screen readers and other assistive technology daily, and that is the test that actually matters. It is planned before launch.
The custom-case builder involves cropping and positioning an image, which is hard to make fully keyboard-operable. If you cannot use it, email us and we will set up your design for you.
Tell us if something does not work
If you hit a barrier, please tell us — it is the fastest way for us to fix it. Email support@covelle.online with the page and what went wrong, and we will reply within two business days.
If something stops you completing an order, say so and we will take the order for you directly while we fix the problem.
